Westgate Farm is a spacious family pub and carvery restaurant on Edinburgh's western edge, near South Gyle, part of the Farmhouse Inns group. It qualifies outright on its free indoor play area, where kids can play while parents eat — on top of that there's a beer garden, a dedicated kids' menu (every kids' meal comes with a free scoop of ice cream, sorbet or frozen yoghurt), high chairs on request, and a good range of vegetarian/vegan dishes.
