About this place: A large pub/restaurant on Gosforth's Great North Road with a wood-fired Pizza Dough Co. residency and a well-known Sunday lunch. Why it's kid-friendly: The Playhouse Soft Play (play frames, a sensory zone and a Netflix corner for children up to 148cm) operates from the same building, so families can eat and let kids play in the same visit — note it's a separate paid soft-play admission rather than a free in-pub play corner.
