About this place: A friendly community cafe in the centre of Appleby-in-Westmorland, serving breakfasts, sandwiches and cakes, run by a local charity. Why it's kid-friendly: there's a toy box and a book shelf that children are actively encouraged to use while their family eats, making it a relaxed, welcoming spot for young children.
