About this place: An ice cream and chocolate parlour at the bottom of Helmsley's Castle Walks, making its own ice cream and chocolates on site. Why it's kid-friendly: ice cream is inherently kid-friendly food, and there's a sun-trap outdoor seating area at the rear for families to enjoy their cones (staff have even quickly replaced a child's dropped ice cream).
