James' Bistro is a family-run cafe-bistro a few steps from the Clock Tower, known for its all-day breakfasts, burgers and pasta, and doubling as a small art gallery of local work. It's kid-friendly thanks to a proper children's menu (sandwiches, sausage-and-beans breakfasts, each served with a drink and a choice of ice cream, fruit sorbet or brownie), baby-changing facilities, and a good amount of outdoor seating for when the weather's kind.
